I was one day sitting in the courtyard with my grandma while she was picking the leeks from her own garden. Then, she made them into deep-fried cuisine afterwards. While she was cooking, the sizzling sound from the boiling oil, the smell of leeks, and the texture of the crunchy batter, they have deeply carved onto my mind.
I decided to preserve the moment and turn it into graphics and animation.
